Overview:
The Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu was built in 153 AD and covers nearly 5000 square acres. There are many burial pits and artifacts that can be viewed at this site. Then you will visit, the Xianyang Museum is a very famous Chinese history museum that was opened in 1962 and displays over 4000 cultural artifacts and relics from the Qin and the Han Dynasties.
There are nine exhibit halls with items such as pottery, bronzes weapons, paintings, and items excavated from the mausoleum of the first emperor of the Han Dynasty. Finally, we will visit the Maoling Mausoleum that was built for the 5th emperor of the Han Dynasty, Liuche who ruled China for 54 years. The museum at this site was opened to the public in 1978. The mausoleum site is consists of main square surrounded by an inner and outer wall and is filled with artifacts unearthed at this site.
